I hope 2008 is a great year for you. If you're interested in Thomas Moore's work, you may want to visit a blog dedicated to his writings called Barque: Thomas Moore at http://barque.blogspot.com . Your post shows how Moore's observations can help to interpret one's own dark nights, in a personal and supportive way. Thank you for sharing your year-end summary with Moore as your guide.

I loved the Moore passages Bill.. it surprised me to read it and I so resonated with his thoughts.. it has been a dark year for me.

I also enjoyed hear about your year.. sorry about your back.. I wish that I couldn't relate :( Great news about church.. I had been wondering how that has gone for you since the McLaren series ended.

When I was single again I felt that I would be remarried and thought God had told me that he would send me a Ruth.. I am praying that for you as well Bill.. not that you need my help :)

Best wishes for 2008!

Your blog friend, Bob

Editor,

Thanks for the Thomas Moore link. I have been looking for anyone to connect with regarding his writings since no one in my neck of the woods has read any of his works. I intend to check it out and interact from time to time....

Hi Bob,

I am so sorry to hear about your wife's relapses this past year. You and your wife will be in my thoughts and prayer from now on...and...I appreciate your prayers because "I" do need help on my end of things...apparently...my country bumpkin charm is not enough....Best wishes for you as well during 2008....

Bill, I'm so sorry about your relationship! And especially after that nice post below with the Christmas fairies and the nice birthday. :( Waaaaah. I wanted that for you.

I hope your year is filled with good things (a healed back, friendship, nature and peace).

Much love,
Julie
