So, it turns out you ARE a Bush lover after all...

Kinda corny, but I just had to say that. So, I expect you will follow his NFL career for awhile at least. Which team do you want him to play for? I suppose the Rams would be your fantasy, but realistically, it looks like he might go to the Houston Texans and be their marquee player just like O.J. Simpson was for the Buffalo Bills when they were a struggling, aimless franchise.

I have to admit that I haven't really watched much of his career, though I've seen him on the highlight reels. I am usually too busy with other things on Saturdays to spend much time watching college football. And he plays out on the West Coast, you know...

I hope he has a big game against Texas so I can enjoy the spectacle. I will be watching that game, I imagine.

I envy your ability to enjoy football these days. As you know, I'm a long-suffering Lions fan. 'Nuff said... Although oddly enough, Grand Valley State, where my daughter attends college, just won the NCAA Division II National Championship (this is their second title in the last few years - they are a powerhouse in that division.) My daughter is completely oblivious to football so we don't really get into it all that much. But at least I can take some comfort that we do have a top-quality pigskin program in the region, even though I don't get around to watching them play all that much...

Let's hope Bush doesn't end up in Houston. One Bush from Texas is bad enough...just had to say that...
